Frans made shrimp and pork shumai today. It was based on Tyler Florence’s recipe over at FoodNetwork.com. It was a big hit for Franchesca!
I remember, back in the Philippines, Frans and I frequently had our afternoon snacks at Hen-Lin which was right next to our office building. They had the best shumai, or siomai as we call it in the Philippines. What we really loved about their siomai is the chili sauce that comes with it. Sometimes, when we don’t get the chance for an afternoon break, we get our siomai before going home.
