Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

The year has been a wonderful one for us. Though we missed our goals of losing weight, we at least were able to maintain ourselves healthy (sort of) and happy. Cheska is now in 2nd grade while Francine turned 2 last summer. Vergel is still busy at work while I’m still a stay at home mom. I’m in the process of starting a home business to keep me busy as Francine may be starting school next year. :)

We stayed home most of the time this year, moving rooms and trying to organize the clutter we have accumulated the last 6 years. Finally, we pretty much have settled which room is what so hopefully next year will be a more organized one.

We took one grand vacation last summer, well it is grand for us… We all went to Walt Disney World and had a blast for 9 days there. We had so much fun we didn’t want to leave the most magical place on earth. We are hoping to be back there soon. :)   It was actually our birthday gift for Cheska’s 7th birthday who had a princess party at home.

Speaking of Cheska, she lost her first (2 actually at the same time) baby tooth last summer. I think one of her biggest accomplishment this year is finally taking the training wheels off her bike.

Francine on the other hand rides a small bike with training wheels and can pedal a few feet on her own. She can now communicate better and trying to be Ate Cheska’s buddy. By the way, she knows all the letters of the alphabet and the numbers 0-10.

We thank our Lord for all the blessings He showered us especially the friends we have and we got to know along the way.  May the coming year be as blessed as it has always been. And most of all, may we lose the extra weight this time as we are definitely not getting any younger.  :)
