Francine is finally going to Pre-K. She has been anxious to go to school since August of last year but I failed to do my job and did not register her to any school. 
So she ended up with no spot on the affordable pre-K’s we have in our area. I was able to put her on wait list and finally a catholic Pre-K called that they have an opening for Francine beginning of this year. 
For her first day, she was very excited of course. Me, I have mixed feelings… Happy to have time alone to do things and errands but at the same time I know i will miss her very much. When she went to school for the first time, she immediately mingled with her classmates and said “bye mom, see you later”. No tears or hesitation at all. She ate most of her lunch. Thank goodness because i was worried she won’t eat enough at school. She came home with 2 artworks and lots of stories.
This is her 2nd week and basing on how i am able to wake her up early in the morning to prepare for school, she is liking her new routine.
